How long does the process take from start to finish?

Depending on the size and complexity of your booth, the building process can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. For example, a 10×20 booth would take around eight weeks to complete from the client sign-off until the booth ships to its venue. However, at Marketing Genome, we always try to accommodate clients who need something last minute by utilizing our extensive rental inventory

How many meetings are typically required?

We always require an initial meeting to discuss your goals and ensure you’re on your way to a successful lead-generating exhibit. After our initial meeting, it is entirely up to you how often you’d like to meet with us. We can have scheduled weekly check-in meetings to make sure everything is running smoothly, or we can schedule on-the-fly calls to address questions or concerns that pop up. 

What does Marketing Genome do beforehand to prepare for the initial meeting?

Before our initial meeting, we like to research our potential clients and gather enough information to present you with a baseline idea of the booth experience you may see. For example, a construction company may be looking for a more component and structure-heavy design to showcase their products. On the other hand, a pharma client may have more interest in a content and media-driven look with some unique experimental aspects built into their exhibit. We like brainstorming ideas and reviewing them with you before designing your booth so it truly reflects your brand and messaging. 

Are there any limitations when designing?

There are no real limitations when it comes to our designers. Essentially, our team can bring any unique booth design idea to life. We work with you to maximize your exhibit budget while giving you the “WOW” factor you strive for. 

What software do you use to design trade show booths?

Marketing Genome uses advanced design software that can provide detailed and accurate renderings of exhibits. We also use CAD drawings to provide specific booth layouts and graphic template measurements. This software gives you a good idea of what your booth will look like before building it. 

How many team members are typically involved in the planning process?

Aside from you and your staff, Marketing Genome also contributes a dedicated team of account management, project management, designers, builders, and logistics specialists that cater to all aspects of the design process experience. 

What am I expected to do/give during the process?

Marketing Genome’s main goal is to make the exhibit design process as seamless as possible. However, achieving this goal requires a team effort. If we have any questions or concerns, it is important you get back to us as quickly as possible so the building process doesn’t slow down. It’s also crucial for you to meet all graphic and logistic deadlines set by our team to eliminate last-minute rush fees. Meeting deadlines also allows for better oversight and more time to catch mistakes and avoid mishaps before a show date. 

How involved will I be in the design process?

Your involvement is entirely up to you! Some clients prefer having the initial meeting and then a few occasional calls, while others prefer weekly meetings to go over progress and address any questions that arise. Regardless of your level of involvement, our team will meet all your expectations and needs. During the after-show wrap-up meeting, you will have the opportunity to share whether or not our team did everything to your satisfaction and how we can improve your experience at the next show.
