AmCon is a design and contract manufacturing trade show that takes place in multiple cities across the nation. You will be able to meet with some of the best job shops and contract manufacturers from the U.S. and Canada. The types of manufacturing include forming, fabricating, machining, engineering, prototyping, finishing, assembly, electronic manufacturing, and design. The AmCon in Salt Lake City is the only design and contract manufacturing trade show in the region. AmCon will be taking place October 22-23, 2014 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The times will be Wednesday, October 22, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Thursday, October 23, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Admission, attendee parking, and seminars are all free. All you have to do is register.

How to get there?

AmCon is taking place at the Salt Palace Convention Center located at 100 S. West Temple. Fly into Salt Lake City International Airport which is a mere 11 minute drive from the Salt Palace Convention Center.

The host hotel for this event is the Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown at 215 W. South Temple. To receive the AmCon rate of $119, call 801-531-7500. Nearby there is also the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek or the Hilton Salt Lake City Center.

As an attendee you will be exposed to a variety of top notch design and contract manufacturers . You will see the newest technologies in the industry and receive quotes on projects. There will also be multiple seminars that are open to all attendees.
